Jesus christ theres some muppets posting today. To all of you agreeing and stating that its a good business move, please explain why?
We are back in the Premier League, we have one of our best managers ever, some cracking young players, a fine stadium and a growing fanbase. We could be Coventry, Leeds, Portsmouth, Chelsea etc, etc. But we have been lied to about this preposterous name change. I am disgusted about the deceipt, it reminds me of previous owners, but yet I keep thinking "it could be worse". We will always be Hull City and one day our rightful name will be corrected.
Hate to be Chelsea. A minted owner, arguably one of the best managers in the business and the potential to win the league this season. Poor bastards.
Seriously? Yeah I suppose having a billionaire owner and winning titles in both England and Europe is pretty bad. Get a grip.
Because 'Papa' Allam is the bestest owner ever and is going to take us into Europe and we're goung to have crowds of 35,000 and Asians are going to buy our shirts! Meanwhile, in the real world...
I really think it's just in Hull that there are so many apathetic fans who just don't care whatever happens. At any other club it would be widespread outrage. Here it's mostly outrage, but there are worrying number of people who simply don't give a ****.
UBrilliant point I am disappointed so many aren't bothered He's a lying old twat who don't forget is benefitting himself from owning our club He's gone senile, i really am pissed off about this and i've already been rigged by numerous people. B. b, the way it's gone about too is horrendous How dare he just take the city out our name because he deems it too common? He can leave the club for me
I don't remember reading on this thread anyone mentioning a possible sale of the Club. I seem to remember on here a few weeks ago about a possible American investor/buyer. It'd explain the name change to an American type one, maybe this is the first step.
Here we go again, the name has been altered slightly, big wow, were not playing in a different postcode, or changed colours,or hurtling head long into admin,no just a slight name change. I support Hull City have done for 40 years or more and i suspect I will for the next 40, in a few weeks this will all be forgotten apart from them few who like to rattle on about tradition. Things move on stand still you get left behind.
We had fans pissed off enough by our kit going mainly red instead of red and white stripes. **** knows how bad it would be if we had a **** name name change like you.
