As I said in another thread Hull City is getting known globally without the name change. I have just come home after working for 4 weeks in South Africa and everyone I met knows Hull City. All our matches in the PL this season have been shown on their Sports Channels and Mondays match is been shown as well, BTW there is only Chelsea of the top four that can equal this. Instead of dragging up the namechange again the silly old twat should be getting a container full of replica shirts down there.

I send a few Hull City shirts with the new badge to a couple of customers I have in Ghana, both sent me an E mail back thanking me, but said which team is this as it doesn't say on the badge. One followed up with an E mail asking if it was Leicester tigers<laugh>.

Allem has achieved more in his lifetime than all you losers put together. It really is pathetic reading your insulting comments, given that they are emanating from the shangri-la of successful people that is Hull. You can only deal with mediocrity, face it.

Do you know who I am?

One shop as apposed to a multiplex rented out to global/national companies like Waitrose, McDonalds, Car Dealerships, KFC, Starbucks, Weatherspoons and Tesco Metro etc

He wants people to be around the stadium on a daily basis and not a ghost town in between matches.

I saw some one near the Stadium last Tuesday feeding the horses grazing ( for free) on the land the council cannot sell because it is landlocked by railway lines, and the stadium. Has anyone suggested building a hotel there or something?
....
The name change would be thrown out of the window tomorrow if AA made a serious offer for the leasehold of the KC and the council agreed to sell.
...
I was embarrassed for him during the press conference and switched off half way through, it was painful to listen to.

He's just saying exactly what he said last year, he has only called a press conference to let the world know the club is up for sale, free advertising!. There has been no interested buyers, he's making that up.
All the journos will be stewing over wasting their time and he'll be blasted in tomorrows press.

Didn't he say that changing the name will make millions? and now that the other sponsor that pulled out lost him just 1 million, is it really necessary to piss us all off by wanting to change the name for a million a year? Without sponsorship money being in the Prem is around 100M per year now?

I'm going to a golf society tomorrow and they're going to rib the **** of me, FFS!

I thought he wanted a sports village?

All publicity is good publicity.
Was not the name change last season done to take pressure of the team and management,
is this what he is doing now.
I understand that a move to York may be considered, depending on what happens in Hull and at Elland rd.

First world problems! <laugh>

Sounds fancier than it is, £30 for breaky 18 holes and dinner! Not bad eh! Most of them support Chelsea and Arsenal so I have no ammunition, shame there wasn't any Leeds supporters going so I'll have to take the brunt of their abuse, I'll get drunk it'll help :-)

Yeah, because nobody ever criticised or questioned a businessperson's idea. You clown :steam:
