As part of my website which I posted a few weeks back, a suggestion was an all time best XI and I would like some opinions about what you think it is

Who would you put in your all time best XI?

EDIT: The original thread (Website Ideas) was locked for god knows why so I have to start a new one

How about an all-time Saints 'Fat Bloke' eleven?

John Burridge
Ulrich Van Gobbel, Neil Ruddock, Richard Dryden, Simon Charlton
Danny Wallace, Matt Le Tissier, Jim Magilton (captain)
James Beattie, Rickie Lambert, Gordon Watson

Manager: Dave Merrington

They could play at the Dell-icatessen, ho ho!!

Peter Shilton
Mark Dennis
Mark Wright
Ivan Golac
Claus Lundekvam
Mat LeTiss
Alan Ball
Terry Paine
Ron Davis
Kevin Keegan
Mike Channon

A rather attacking side but by god this side would rip any side apart

Subs
Antti Niemi
Dennis Hollywood
Neil Ruddock
Nick Holmes
Brian O'neil
Alan Shearer
Peter Osgood

Have left so many good players out to

Niemi
Dodd Lundekvam Svensson Bale

When you can leave people like Shearer or Osgood on the bench.. :D

And what about Ronnie Ekelund he certainly graced the dell when he wasn't injured. And Keegan and nick Holmes all good players

Ekelund, Walcot, Chamberlain, Bale.

Would be interesting to know who made the fewest appearances for Southampton but made the greatest impact.
