All the ones mentioned here. Also, there's a magical goal of Shackleton's on you tube where he leaves the goalie looking in the opposite direction to where he went, totally bemused and rooted. One that left me as happy as any was the goal Shearer didn't score from the penalty spot in front of his own crowd. I thanked all the gods in the heavens for that one!

Just one? Well, it has to be Porterfield's. Not a great goal by any means, but in those circumstances ... a goal for a lifetime.

That Tommy penalty save is my favourite EVER moment following the lads.

I KNEW he was going to miss, i just knew.

Great pen, which made it even sweeter.

Sorensen, forever a hero and legend to me <ok>

For me it has to Porterfield's goal. I never saw hit the back of the net because had thrown my arms up in the because something told me it was going in. I had waited over 20 years to see them win the cup, now all they have to do is win the Prem

Been some crackers mentioned, particularly loved SKP against Chelsea and Carlos against Burnley, but it has to be Porterfield. A true legend RIP.

For me it was the Howard Gayle thunderbolt against Notts Forest in the leauge cup - sorry not sure what year.

It was a drab game on a cold night - Gayle picked the ball up on the right in his own half, ghosted passed two or three players, and blasted home an unstoppable shot into the top corner from at least 35 yards.

    And we won the tie.

Otherwise it was Ricco against the SCUM

Didn't realise it was the year we got to the final - quality goal though.

Am really surprised nee one else has mentioned it.

Great player = Howard Gayle. Just a shame he preferred some strange substances

Mickey Gray screamer in a 3-0 promotion decider against Brum when Reid was in charge
Kevin Ball's diving header in a 3-0 against Chelsea
SKP in the rain at the sportdirect.com
THE Kieron Richardson free-kick vs the skunks
