That's not strictly true but he certainly has some influence over them all. An example was last week, there was a thread by one of the match going posters moaning about Moyes not being good enough which became a decent, football based, discussion on whether he should be supported or not etc. Matth sees this and instead of juts joining in posts his very own look at me I support Moyes thread (for about the fourth time) which instantly attracts all the piss takers and baiters and it just becomes a mocking fest and the actual discussion, you know about football and that !!!!!, got lost. His thread was yet another Matth bait-o-fest. He brings it on himself and far from making the board lively actualy makes it ****ing tedious.
It really doesnt. It irritates me when people say this. I am supposed to let someone abuse me and ruin the forum because they have autism? It might be classified as bullying if Meth didnt actually start 99% of the slanging matches he gets involved in by swearing and calling people mongs and rentboys.
This is true but in knowing his condition and still carrying on it really doesn't help. I'm not defending Matth at all because I agree with a lot of what you said and he most definitely starts most of it but nearly all threads become like some form of on line badger baiting. If he's ignored maybe it'll stop?
This is what I'm trying to say. He can't control what he's doing or saying all of the time, that's part of Asperger's but we can do our best to accommodate him. If you can't bear him, ignore him. You can tell from his posts that he's not a bad person he just gets carried away, especially if Man Utd lose.
I agree with this, we all know Matt makes too many threads about stuff that doesn't warrant a thread, sometimes to the point that a very good thread ends up lost on page 2, but baiting him isn't helping the situation either, it's making it worse because now we have Matt's threads full of people abusing Matt and Matt abusing them which is crap for everyone. Matt being autistic doesn't make him right or give him an excuse to call everyone who dissagrees with him a mong or t(w)at but throwing abuse back at him is escalating the situation not improving it. Leave him be, if he makes a good thread, reply constructively, if the thread is pointless don't reply and let that end up being the thread that gets lost on page 2. At the moment we just have thread after thread of people taking the piss out of Matt and it's getting harder and harder to find threads with proper football related discussions in them. No individual is to blame, it's just the snowball effect and the snowball has got a bit too big now IMO.

I've done that too, but I hardly see that as a big deal. In fact that IS a joke, done silently, some of the other stuff just drones on and on and never changes. My postion is this, I will no longer and never again defend Matths right to post thread after thread because I'm bored of it all and we no longer discuss football, which given the 'interesting' season we're having that is just plain wrong. I also do not support opposing and fellow red supporters continual mocking of said lad. I wish it all went away.
The thing is it has droned on since he joined the site - so nothing will change until a mod with any kind of bollox makes his bans permanent. He is by far the most rude and aggressive member of this board, playing the autism card over and over again is no excuse to constantly abuse people when he disagrees. No-one is anywhere near as abusive to him as he is towards them, people just wind him up by repeating stuff he says etc. Quite simply, he's the problem not anyone else. Completely brings it on himself - if he can't handle it he should go to a stricter website. But I'm guessing he's already banned from the other sites so this is his last resort!! Serious
