The team is much more likely to finish higher with a happy Adel.

Over to you Harry.

How about this way of looking at it? Harold is a useless tit and hasn't managed the club very well since his arrival. He plays the media as he wants to and Adel is just young and a bit silly. Ezwoldo you answered your own question like AAAAGH said. Its funny time again and Adel is looking elsewhere because QPR which he loves is an unhappy ship... Yet on here Adel **** it all gets collected and painted on good and thick. This is about egos nothing more. Harold hasn't proved to me yet that he knows what he is doing with team selection or tactics. Adel has proved to me he could play football for most clubs in Europe. He is very special and needs looking after.

Good news from the tit as ever as he asks for buyers. He is on record again as saying Adel isn't fit and then claims no one at the club is

This window is crazy as there will be a lot going ons.

The way its going I would watch Adel playing anywhere rather than QPR under Harold and I bet there isa few on here who would do the same and will do the same if and when he goes.

Taarabt is QPR for me at the moment ... why that's how i like my football and I ask any fan on here who goes to LR how dissapointed were you when he wasn't playing? ... I think we may need to get used to that. Taarabt first name of the sheet for me

For me Taarabt demonstrates what is wrong with QPR. He doesn't seem to care about us, he has always believed that he was too big for us. He shows no more commitment to us than Bosingwa, although admittedly his brilliance gives him a lot more credit in the bank. The wall against Wigan was the moment that I fell out of love with Adel. I think that any one of the 15000-odd fans would have gladly taken a ball in the face to hang on for a win.

First of all the disclaimer. This not racialist.

Over the years I have seen many gifted players in the hoops, Marsh and Bowles the two most outstanding. From what I have seen on television Taarbs could be amongst them. Now with sport science as it is how can we put up with players fasting for hours with it not affecting their fitness, mind and their ability to perform to the highest standards. Taarbs also seems, acording to reports, to have 'hangers on' no doubt of the same religous persuation.

If players are not fit to perform for self imposed reasons they should not be paid.

Before the self righteous amongst you start pontificating, taarbs is a professional sportsman. If his beliefs come first he should be prepared to ply his trade in a muslim country and not take the large amounts of money that English football provides while not being fit enough to play. I am sure his 'advisors' would not let him do that if he was not paid. %'s and all that.

Many years ago one of the Knowles brothers walked away from football because of his beliefs which I admired. he was not prepared to be paid for something he could not devote his full time to. I might be wrong but I thing he retired quite young because he would not play ot train Sundays and Good Friday.

I would love Taabs to stay and use his undoubted skills to get us back where we belong but his profession must come first. If he continues like this his income will drop and where will his so called advisors be then, moved on to the next gullable Taarbs

I know my views might upset some but that is my personal view not a raciaist rant.

Please Taarbs get you act together and get us back to where we belong. It will be great for us and hopefully shut up Swords( whoever he was ), Queens and a few others.

Goodnight. It is 10 here so I Have to get ready to go down to the bar so will collect the flack in the morning as I am not likely to be back until 3 or 4.

The guy might be a complete tosser, and totally arrogant, but he does this regularly in the NPC.

Best goal I've seen in long while at LR (though I will rationalise this with the fact that I only get to 10 or so matches each season).

I think HR has got his approach totally right in calling him out over his lack of discipline and disobedience. Let's see what he's made of. Will he be a man and prove us all wrong?

I for one hope so.

That was one game I was desperate to win that season as it was Cardiff! I quite clearly remember going crazy at that goal - climbing up onto the wall next to me in the lower loft. Those were the days.

I've seen all of the great number tens, Marsh, Bowles, Byrne, Wegerle and Adel certainly fits into the same entertainer category. His talent is without question, but his attitude is something we can't accommodate in the coming Championship season. Adel is not someone I'd like to be in the trenches with, he's not going to roll his sleeves up and get stuck in.
We simply can't afford a player who is going to drift in and out of games, we need players who are going to be on their game for 90 minutes, not the Rangers way, but if we want to get out of this league then that's the harsh reality.
Add to that, he's clearly not happy, then I'm afraid it's time to cut the chord!
From memory the Fulham home game last season where he single-handedly won the game for us, I can't think of any other stand out performances.

He wants to go FFS. He has been trying desperately topiss off Harry and the board so they will sell him. If he doesn't go this summer he will behave like a dick until Christmas hoping to go in January.

Yes, we would all want an Adel of two years ago, but that ain't going to happen.

He wasn't too shabby either against Swansea at Loftus Road that season with the classic Joe Allen nutmeg!

I agree, and I thank you for your restraint gents.

I personally think the 'Tarbs' threads have been done to death.
It's these threads that in my opinion carry the most threat of destroying the harmony we currently enjoy on our board.
I think we all know where we as fans and we as individual poster's stand in our opinions on Adel. It is pointless running around in circles reciting repetitive statements on what we think of him.

So with that, I'm going to take an executive decision and put all Adel threads into an 'Adel Mash-up.' Where all related threads get piled into one and you can sift through them if you feel that way inclined. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to define one from any other anyway.
Unless there is any significant news on our 'mercurial talent.' ie. Transfer move or he is staying ( Verified. ) or any other story of importance that will justify a dedicated thread it will end up on the 'slush pile.'

If anyone disagrees with this then feel free to PM me or Roller.

Cheers <ok>

I have yet to make a comment on the mercurial talent that is Adel. I think he has skills and ability that many pros only dream off, yet he is found wanting in a professional approach to the game. I believe we as fans, the media and the ease of nobodies becoming celebrities are in many ways to blame for the downfall of young and naive players. Take a look at that Johnson kiddie who was at Man City.

If Adel can be prepared right mentally then he will be a star if he cant he will no doubt end up in a lesser league and be the big fish in a small pond. I hope for the former not just for QPR but young kids who are learning the game and see skill not kick and run football.

All points bulletin - "come in number 10 your time's up" - I think the #7 suited his style better - not a #10 like Marsh or Bowles.

If its on YouTube go back and look at that free kick again. Adel obviously ducks, but also look at Mackie.

Harry Redknapp has excluded Adel Taarabt from QPR’s pre-season tour of Austria after encouraging clubs to ‘make an offer’ for the Moroccan.

Taarabt was sent home from QPR’s pre-season camp in Devon last week after turning up late for a training session, and was not on the plane as the Rs departed on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old now appears set for the exit, and is keen to move to Ligue 1 side Marseille.

Harry seems to have earmarked Adel as Key Troublemaker. How things can change in two seasons
