Crespo was good very good, but if it was not for his career ending injury, he may well of been a legend.I quite liked Crespo, he got quite a bit of stick but I'd take him anyday of the week over what we have now!

I swear I heard the ball scream ouch! when JFH hit it.Always dreamed of having a striker like Hasselbaink in his prime back in the side...
...what I'd do to see him leading the line now!
We completely agree, for once!Costa back please. Wish we had loaned him out until Tony Fcuked off....
Youm all missing the point of the thread. I said players that were criticised. Drogs Lamps et al were/are legends, find a player that was lambasted at the time but would better the team now. Boularouj e.g.
My dear departed uncle used to rave about Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink being the best player he’d ever seen in a Chelsea shirt.
Not to be pedantic, but a lot of the players you listed originally do not meet your own criteria.
Lebeouf was rarely on the whole criticised, he was a fan favourite for the most part and the only slight knock on him was that he was said to be a bit soft for a cb.
Ivanovic was idolised at chelsea and the only time he got criticism was rightly so, in his last year, where he was diabolical. I would definitely not have that last year Ivan in our team now.
Cudicini? Never.
Babayaro, rarely.
Flo never?
Only ones you have a case for are Bosingwa and Mikel, i'd probably have Bos as a squad player and that's it.
I think you should look back at some of the posts on here the very people I mentioned were criticised heavily at some point.
