He was consistent . . . . so much so that Brian Clough said that if he was England manager he would have built the team around him Unfortunately, Bobby Robson ruined his England career, sometimes playing him then dropping him . . . . 'cos Robson didn't favour natural skill/stylish football I said then that I'd never forgive him for that.
Sounds like a consistent problem with England managers. My era equivalent who I used to like were macmanaman and Gazza. Love watching players dribble and skin their full back. Strikers like Ronaldo (the proper one) were fabulous, putting defenders on their arses for fun!
State of that penalty for Fulham. Football doesn't mean that you pretend your own foot is the ball and kick that instead.
Few unexpected placings in the prem table. I thought Fulham were sunk but they're out of the bottom three. I thought Moyes was a walking car crash but he's doing great with West Ham. He can still get ****ed though.
Arsenal struggling in 17th is a surprise, but apart from them ('cos they'll recover) the teams that are 12th and below are in, and will be in, the relegation zone all season. Ultimately, I think that it'll be 3 of the current bottom 5 that will be playing S.A.F.C. next season
Partey sums up modern footballers. Feels a twinge so just walks off the pitch and lets his mates get done 4 on 2. Pathetic
Hull played at home to Portsmouth tonight in a game with only one shot on target ... ... by Hull, who lost 2-0.
Newcastle playing in yellow against the red & white stripes at Brentford ... ... Don Goodman commentating.
I love watching Arsenal trying to play out from the back. They are so ****ing inept at doing it they look more like conceding every time they try it. They barely get the ball 40yards from their goal before the other team pinch it. So poor, would love to see them go down.
