Cesar: "guarda dietro di te!" Ferdinand: "What did he say?" Boswinga: "BEHIND YOU!" Ferdinand. "Thanks ... oh ****! .... sorry."
Impressive signing for QPR considering Julio Cesar is well known around the world as a good goalkeeper. His form has dropped after suffering some serious injuries in the past few years but before his injuries, he was one of the best goal keepers in the world and i personally think he was the best GK in the world at a stage in his career. If he stays fit and gets some of that form back which he produced a few years back then you will have a top goal keeper on your hands and the signing would be well worth it for the club.
http://www.sambafoot.com/en/news/34985_julio_cesar_confirms_qpr_switch.html Cesar himself confirms it!
We have Fabio and Boswinga and were linked with Carvalho and Rolando so who needs to speak english, we could have a portuguese speaking back 5.
I would say he is in his prime right now and has around 6-10 years left in him providing he stays fit.
This Cesar and his wife are looking at schools today for their kids so he is signing for us. It must be work permit slowing things down, My guess is he's cant sign for us until he's got the all clear
He's certainly a great signing. But be warned, the guy has been a shadow of his former self since Mourinho left the San Siro. There is a reason why Inter are letting him go. If he plays to what he can then this could possibly be one of the greatest coups in the history of the club, but thats an if. He didn't want to cut his salary at Inter, that's why he wanted to leave apparently. Hope you have big pockets Tony.
I congratulate you all with a very impressive signing! He may not be as good as a few years back but look at Van der Sar, there is always room for improvement and goalies can last till their mid fourties! The EPL has another legend in its ranks
Hes already moved to London and said he thinks he will have more work to do here which will help him get back the brazil #1 spot. Its happening folks. Edit, I told you, its on the offish now. http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/290812-fernandes-cesar-341920.aspx
