Leave off, he's not a bad keeper, I believe he's a good one in fact. Disgusting the way some of you on here haven't got behind him whilst he's wearing, and may I remind some of you, a QPR shirt. Dont understand this transfer at all, that said Cesar is genuine quality and probably should take the number 1 spot.

Were screwed either way. We could have got someone fantastic and in their early 20s for what were going to be paying these 2 for the next 3 years.

Green as a back up keeper is fantastic. If he can sort out his lack of confidence he can be very good. Nobody can expect to come into a team and be guaranteed a start whatever the position. MH is assembling a squad with strength in depth. He'll have to fight for his place the same as AJ, SWP, Nelson or any of the others. All good as far as I'm concerned. If he doesn't like it he can put in a transfer request and the club can consider it.

Very fair point, may have been lacking quality back up but prob worth the risk although would that level of keeper want to come to us?

I'd support him maximum if I could get to games, but it doesn't alter my opinion that he's a totally nervous Keeper who is not up to playing Keeper for us.

Julio Cesar to sign for QPR today
    By Football Italia staff

Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar is set to sign a four-year contract with QPR worth €2.5m per season after his wife sent a farewell message to Nerazzurri fans.

The Brazilian has been in negotiations for several days and according to Italian media the deal has been struck with contracts possibly signed as early as this evening.

The only delay is with regards to the payment Inter will hand over to terminate his contract early.

“I always had a wonderful rapport with everyone in Italy,” wrote wife Susana Werner on her Twitter account today.

“I loved Inter with all my heart, as it was a part of me, maybe more than 50 per cent. I love Julio and really respect him, as he is the husband I always dreamed of.

“I feel strange sensations right now. I want to cry like a baby and I don’t know why. I see messages that tear me up. You have always been marvellous to me.

“I wanted to thank you, but I can’t manage it and I certainly can’t say goodbye. I love you fans! I love Inter and it will remain in my heart, like all these wonderful years and memories you’ve given me.”

We finished 17th last year and Kenny let almost everything past him, Green is Englands number 2 and has only just moved clubs, AND we're only 2 games in to the season. Im struggling to think as to why you think we're too good for him?

I have only ever seen Green play badly, usually very badly, for England, West Ham and us, and from what I saw and heard of his pre-season it was the same. I'd have preferred Cerny to Kenny last season, and to Green now, if he is fit. I hope, if he does stay and play he gives us performances that made him England's no 2, and got MH to bring him in. I'll be very happily surprised if he does!

Working with a keeper of Cesar quality can only do him good, coupled with fighting for his place may bring out the best in him.

lol, the worlds gone mad. We sign one of the worlds best keepers, from one of the worlds best clubs and fans of our little old club are moaning.

I do believe if we signed Messi on friday people would find something to moan about. Guys come on, for whatever reason he is the biggest signing we have EVER made. I feel sorry for Green, he is a good keeper and has got off to a bad start, but Cesar is a quality signing. Can't we just enjoy this amazing bit of news for what it is??

I agree, he has looked nervous and because of that so has our defense...

Everyone keeps saying how bad it is for Green, he's gonna be the understudy to Cesar, I don't see that as too bad, he'll still play, maybe not as many games but when he does he'll be a better keeper for it...

He flapped at another cross tonight which meant they hit the bar from the resulting corner.

I wonder if he will take Greens #1 shirt. They might be able to change them before the window shuts.
