I dont even read foxestalk. Hull fans hate us more then they love their own club And thats part of the problem with fans now adays
I think everyone on here has been saying Pearson will sort it. We've only won a game against a shambles of an opposition, so its not sorted yet, but he will get the job done
You lot crack me up, you were all saying you wanted Beckford out, and now your saying hes won the fans over by scoring a few goals against a pretty poor Forest team. Get Beckford out and get Sharp in was what you were all saying! Feel so sorry for your team with you lot supporting them! If you lose next week, it will be the same old!
Deluded Andy Kings Balls ... Hull fans Hate LcFc you say ?????? You do talk utter ****... I don't know anyone who hates Lester ! Stop coming out with tripe ..
Hull on OUR board again...theres a surprise! Please stick to the banter thread - Syd made it so 95% of our threads would stop being plagued by your lot. Thank you kindly
I know I've been keen to see Nige stick with Beckford. I put the problem down to lack of effort by Beckford and lack of service from the midfield. I still stand by this - King's absences lack night saw a a more fluid attacking formation, but also a team willing to get back and defend when necessary. Danns also looked more dangerous last night that King has for ages. Beckford profited from this free flowing attacking movement but finding himself in space more often and feeding on second balls. This gave him more confidence which in turn saw him work harder. This is what he's needed - watch him fly now.
Do you not get the sarcasm at the thread title Alot of ppl have said that it isnt Beckford but the midfield, tbh, i think its a bit of both. Beckford worked really hard last night, which is totally opposite to some of his last frustrating performances. I'd still take Sharp over Beckford, because Sharp turns up every game and puts a shift in.
Stop talking crap about Hull Fans . I have every right to reply to what AKCJ said about Hull City Fans... We don't hate your team... why would we ?
The supermoderator created a new rule of both fans sticking to their boards (something us Leicester fans will find very easy - minus a couple i suspect). In place is the banter thread for those who do want to chat crap...Therefore could you please stick to the rules set down by the Supermoderator and vent your frustration their please. Thank you
The only problem i have ever had with his work rate and attitude. I never doubted his ability Nigel has done some great man management with Beckford. His work rate has improved alot. It can still get better but its to an acceptable standard now. Last night Beckford was ill and shouldnt of played but did and banged in a hat trick. He is starting to win the fans over now Hull fans either stick to your own board or the banter thread
What? On what planet does 'obsessed with' and 'hate' mean the same thing? 'You do talk utter ****e' 'Stop coming out with tripe'.
It was probably due to a combination of things that it clicked for Beckford last night. Firstly, it must be said that Forest were woeful last night and that made it a lot easier for us to pass it around through midfield. But also, Beckford looked a lot hungrier last night and was chasing down lost causes and closing down defenders, he ran the channels well and reaped the rewards from it. And the service into him was better. I think Nigel mentioned it in the interview but the tempo of our play was a lot better and a lot faster and so it suited Beckford's game well. Hopefully this can be a turning point in both his and our season's. Realistically, to get into the play-offs, we're going to have to go on a similar type of run that Reading went on last year to get themselves from about 10 points from play-offs after about 30 games to get into contention. To do that, we need to establish some consistency and if we do, then, whilst improbable, it's not impossible.
Beckford's second goal was superbly executed and a reminder of his potential -in terms of a natural finisher he is our best - way ahead of Nugent IMHO. Thought Nugent did Ok last night (brought the ball out well for what turned out to be the second goal) but, similar to Gallagher, I'm not sure where he really fits in a footie formation. Ovrall it was a good team performance but we are not there yet - that was a pretty awful Forest side and an abject display - fair play to their fans who kept up a good noise throughout despite the obvious hiding that was inevitable. Negatives? Wouldn't want Gally next to me in the trenches - he ducks more challenges that Audley Harrison - my 6 year old daughter would get stuck in harder. Mills should never, ever, ever, ever, ever, attempt to kick a ball more than 10 yards - he may as well just look to find touch if he hasn't got a team mate in that radius - either way the opposition are going to get possession but at least we might get a moment to re-group. Love to see Lloyd Dyer going at people but he needs some tutelage in crossing - Peltier might be able to help him - cracking cross for the second goal - tempted Camp just enough to **** it up. But overall most satisfying - but please lets build on it!!!!
