As a NUFC fan I have to say it does look as though the luck we were getting isn't going our way anymore, that tied in with injuries & suspensions has hampered us big time. Look at today, hitting the bar, swansea hitting the woodwork twice, a month ago those would have gone in. I'm not getting carried away with it, we're only half way through the season and there is a long way to go yet, plenty of time for you guys to overtake us, or us to pull further away
Spot on. Exactly what I was just saying to my Mag mate on the phone on his way home from the match. If Bruce was still in charge we would have lost that game tonight. All of a sudden a little slice of luck is actually going our way for a change. Yes you make your own luck, however it is a lot easier to make it when things are going well mate.

I'm still absolutely ****ing stumped as to why Bruce didn't get in there for Ba when he was on a free. Regardless of if Gyan was still with us at that point (hadn't wanted to go to the desert), Bruce was nuts to not try to get him. His stats are slightly better than Bents aswell.. Ba is like 0.54 goals a game, whilst Bent's are 0.42 goals a game. Admittingly Ba played in the Bundesliga, which is still a very good league.
