as per the conversation if a man tucking into a steak claims to be vegetarian he may not be following the way but ultimately believes in vegetarianism making him a vegetarian

Those who choose to think they are vegetarian, are vegetarian eating meat has nothing to do with it

I'm trying to place that picture of yours. They look adult, so it can't be Rochdale or Rotherham.

My guess is they're wiccans, which is another made up belief system that stole it's 'traditions from earlier stories and added some bits for the benefit of some pervert.

Still, at least they seem to have a sense of humour. They don't tend to get huffy if you poiint it out.

A man can say he say he is a member of Greenpeace and then go out hunting whales on the weekend . He may say he's a member of Greenpeace , but he ain't .
Same as " Non Atheists " , you can say your a believer but if you don't follow the " believes" , your not a non atheist . A man isn't what he tells you , unlike any other animal... man is a natural born liar . A man is what his actions are .

Terrorists kill innocent people . No supreme being would allow this , it is IMO the worst sin of all with no close second . Going to be a lot of terrorists met at the pearly white gates getting straight on the elevator going to the bottom floor . You would be giving a terrorist a lot of benefit of doubt by saying he is a non atheist because he says he is . Actions dictate who a man is , you can tell when a terrorist is lying .... his lips are moving .

Simply , if you don't follow the beliefs , your not a believer , you just say you are . I can say I'm the Prime Minister of India , it doesn't make me the Prime Minister of India , it just means I said it . Then DMD would come along and say " Hey , he's the Prime Minister of India because he says he is .

How do know " Ultimately he is a vegetarian " , because he told you . You'd have to be pretty gullible to believe a man , eating a steak , is a vegetarian .... regardless of what he tells you

Of course you can. I am living proof of it.

I have been ostensibly vegetarian for over 30 years, yet on a few
occasions will eat meat. The main driver on those occasions is usually
when I am with friends from China or HK, or on business over there.
Especially in the case where "status" dishes are offered to me
(like shark fin soup) .

My friends there as "people" respect me more, because they know I am
making an infrequent gesture to them, rather than being the classic
pompous veggie pr*ck bore.

No you basically are a bad vegetarian and easily sell out because of your mates whikst juatifying it as a "gesture" you basically follow the crowd and I don't aeee how that is getting you more respect

Religion allows for weakness, so a muslim who drinks but says alcohol is haram is a bad muslim. The one who denies it's haram is not a Muslim

The respect of not preaching dogma in order to be awkward.
I cannot be a "bad" vegetarian, because I made a LIFESTYLE CHOICE,
not to "preach my piety" .

That phrase of course coming from religion, where the fear of eternal
punishment by a yet to be proven existent higher entity drives your
decision making.on what you consume.
