Been watching some film of Dr Zakir Naik, he is not only factually wrong on some points but also very rude and intolerant of criticism.

You can be good but I found since his popularity there is a little bit of arrogance or yeah sometimes a lot in him

He's comedy gold isn't he.

Supposed to be a qualified Doctor of medicine, believe it or not. Muslim's raised concerns about him and his preaching, so he's banned from a fair few countries.

Cult of celebrity often these guys like Naik and Dawkins what they do is done in an effort to promote their celebrity rather than any point they may have.

recent articles show that many who shared a platform with them won't do so now and in the case of Dawkins there is actually an atheist movement who are very critical of him and distance themselves to the point they say they are embarrassed by him and refuse to share a platform

Unfortunately as they are the ones who are at the forefront of Media etc some still take them as evidence for their arguments

I don't give a **** about Dawkins and haven't read or watched much of his stuff.

Naik should certainly get more coverage. He's hilariously ridiculous.

He is not that bad and he still has the balls to discuss openly with anyone

I did prefer his mentor the late ahmad deedat but it is widely recognised that they were not anything but experts on comparative religion they never claim to be scholars or the like on Islam

He's bonkers, and won't get near most serious debaters.

I watched where a questioner asked about a contradiction in the Koran re those who believe in the Jewish faith, being Christian and Sabeans have no fears on the final day. later it states that he who follows another religion other than Islam it will not save him and he will be among the lost. Clearly a contradiction and Naik tried to brush it off as context. There is no context, Ive looked up the relevant passages and theres nothing before or afterwards that a reasonable context could be drawn.

Not sure if it's the same one that I've seen but in the one I saw it was clear what he was saying

It referred to past and present as in those who were Christians and Jews before the current revelations came were saved

So for the Jews before christianity or for the Christians before Islam there is no fear

once the new religion has been established those following the older one would not be exempt and will be lost

What about the likes of Vikings, native Americans etc?
