Tbh he's looked decent when he's played. Of the two id prefer him. But I'd prefer someone better.

 

He's been inconsistent and has had a few disciplinary issues if the stories are true ,he lacks pace and and gets caught out of position so on balance yes he's cheap (ask your self why when he cost Villa over 3,000,000) he hasn't pushed on from a very good 1st season with them so to me I'm sure we could do better

 

Please tell me that it is not that cart horse Hutton keeping him out. If that is the case then no thanks.

 

I'd take a straight trade , Mitrovic for Gomis right now ...just for the wage and age issues.

 

I'd agree there roof, provided we keep Bony. It would be suicide for us to sell both our strikers in the same window.

 

What if someone comes in with a £7M bid for Gomis? That's the contract breaker isn't it? Creek and paddle.

 

Think someone already said in the Gomis thread that the £7 million clause is only activated in the summer. If Bony goes, I'd say keep him till the summer, buy this young lad and sell him.

If Bony stays I agree. If Bony leaves, we need to keep Gomis. Can still buy Mitrovic and let him become familiar with the club and style of play etc then we can sell Gomis in the summer if someone offers more than £7 million. But I repeat, to sell both Bony and Gomis this month will be suicide.

 

It's suicide to get rid of 29 year old Gomis , on 80 thousand a week who hasn' t even played? Frankly , if we can find someone who will pay 7 million for him and are willing to pay him 80 thousand a week and we dont sell him , that will be suicide

Selling Gomis and selling Bony has little to do with either , its stupid to think it does . Anyone coming in can have an equal impact as Gomis has given how much Gomis has played , probably more impact given how iratated Gomis is at nor playing

 

But it will take them 5-6 games to get used to new players, new styles of play not to mention a faster and more physical league. It's to much of a risk. Better to keep Gomis.
Or would you prefer to play the second half of a season with two strikers who have a combined total of 0 minutes of football in a Swansea shirt?

 

I doubt Gomis is going anywhere now that Bony has gone..................
