OMG never realised they played matches on a fully snow covered pitch, that is seriously hardcore.

I now have a new found respect for any player who has been with a club out there, surely you have no grip, freezing your ****s off and somehow getting noticed by scouts, give him one of Delia's hot pies and a cuppa quick
 
I think this is a top quality signing! It sounds naive to say it after a 5-0 thrashing, but with Garrido, Turner, Bassong, Whittaker and Tettey coming in this summer we will be VERY hard to break down once they gel. Defensively, we needed an overhaul and Hughton hasn't been afraid to do it.

Bit of a shame about the timing of the Biglia speculation- I think we would be getting much more excited if we didn't have a glimpse of even greener grass!
 
Tettey signed sealed and delivered. Im happy with this one as he looks good but i hope it doesnt mean we wont be getting Biliga cus HE LOOKS AWESOME! May spell the end for Johnson, smith, adeyami etc if Biliga comes in as well. otherwise we will have far too many players lol! I like the sound of this as a starting line up:

I know people dont like playing Holt alone up top but with 2 real class DMs in our side he would get a s**t load more service as Howson and our wingers could push up more!

ps sorry Supers I know you think Rhodes is a rip off but cant deny Vaughan going to Hudders does seem fishy! I like Rhodes, could be a real hit in the Prem. Before you say 'BUT HE'S ONLY SCORED IN LEAGUE 1' look at Holt! Everyone said he would score in the Champ...he did, everyone said he wouldnt score in the Prem...he did.

pps does anyone know if Tettey will be availible tomorrow? May be too soon?

for the last time, it is not fishy. it is merely a coincidence. we are not signing rhodes. if you STILL believe it you need to reassess your life because you are very foolish. i will personally hand you the keys to my house if he signs for us. i'm not ****ting you - this is how sure i am of it <ok>

I'm not specifically having a go at you Bedford cos everyones doing it, but I wish people would stop and get excited about Tettey rather than seculating about the next signing. The way I see it our squad now looks like this, which looks pretty strong to me...

According to me that makes every position covered by at least 2 players and some of those can play in various roles especially defenders. I've a humch we may still see more new arrivals before midnight next Friday and possibly 1 or 2 departures as well. <ok>
 
Could be. Maybe he used us to try and push one of the teams who have shown an interest (MU, Arse, Liv) into making an offer. Same with the guy who was supposed to be going to Southampton perhaps.
