The ''A'' could possibly be the female version as ''O'' in spanish is ''male'' As in a male friend in Spanish is ''Amigo'' and a female friend is ''Amiga'' or there is two sayings in Spanish which basically mean the same thing Hasta menajna(female) which means see you later, and Hasta Lawego(male) which means see you soon.

I wasn't sure of the spelling. But I did know one was ''male'' and the other was ''female''.
Bluff now you may be able to settle this what does Reina translate as,I thought it was ''King'' coming from the word ''Rey''.

Reina means Queen, actually pretty feminine, can also mean love and some other stuff ( noun). Rey is definetely King. Copa del Rey- Kings cup. In portuguese Rei means king ( can also be a name for their currency , 1 dollar is equal to 3 rei's). Pele is known as O Rei.

Pele's name is actually a nickname.
His real name Edson Arantes Do Nascimento.
He actually got the name Pele off an Irishman as the Irish for football is Peile

Hasta manana is roughly translated as see you tomorrow/in the morning hasta luego is translated as see you later. Rey means King, Reina means Queen.

There's a lot of language lessons on here these days! What's Spanish for 'this year is our year'?

With regards Doni, my understanding is that we were willing to sign him for £1.5million but were only willing to offer 40% of his current wages, in line with our more sane contract policy. Talks then came to a stand-still, as obviously nobody is going to take that kind of wage cut, and in the mean time Roma realized they needed him off their books and no one else was in for him, so have either waived the transfer fee or agreed to supplement his wages. We may have budged a little on our offer but from what i can gather Roma have made up most of the difference.

I've read something about a £1.5m severance from Roma a few times. Seems like they've 'paid him off' as a way of supplementing his wages/terminating his contract. So basically means he's ours on a free, on much lower wages than at Roma.

Good signing. This hopefully means Hansen and Galusci can now go out on loan to get valuable experience.

Yeah, I think that's the main reason behind it. It'll be nice to see them make an impact!

    Morning.

Yea! Definetly Gulacsi, although he seemed a bit nervous during the Guangdong game.

I think with time and experience both him and hansen will become quality goalkeepers. The only downside is, we won't be able to keep them both.

    Fair point.

Yup on loan is best for then. Let's face it they won't get a shout ahead of Reina and Doni will they?!

I think its vital we get all our promising youngsters valuable 1st team football, the gulf between reserve and 1st team is vast.

Lads like Coady,Morgan,Sterling,Amoo and more should be sent to lower legue clubs to get experience. that lot down the road do it, fergie is always sending his youngsters to wherever his son is manager.
