Also someone from League one on the way up like Tom Bradshaw? At the end of the day those types of players will not break the bank so the gamble is much less than buying someone like Jordan Rhodes who then goes off an gets injured (like he has).

I'd be surprised if West Ham signed Green. The fans were none too happy when he bailed on them after winning promotion and joined us for a bigger pay cheque. They dropped the idea of Barton quick when the fans started kicking up.

If we can't get rid of Green then we probably won't sign any of these kids we're linked with

Their fans are thick ****s in flat caps and polo shirts. Gold and Sullivan couldn't give a single **** what they think or Allardyce would have gone years ago.

Plus there's no way he'd play ahead of Adriano after his ban ends - if Green was happy to be a second choice why didn't he go to Chelsea (who have now got a much better keeper in Begovic) when he had the chance?

This is all very strange.
 
Apparently he was very cheap being he's not been quite the same since that accident...
