I suspect Ox will be played where and when needed. He's probably not good enough to be in our strongest starting XI but good enough in enough different positions that he will get games yes, on the wing, but also in more central locations.

He's more an alternative to Lallana than Coutinho imo. With Lala injured, Ox will probably play in games that Lala otherwise would have played.

He's left Arsenal and rejected a move to Chelsea based on the fact that he doesn't want to play on the wing.

 

Yeah, but I can't see him playing every game in the center for us. Some, yes. Probably even a decent % of them, but he's going to have to play on the wings frequently too. That's where we need players more.

I suspect he'll end up a true utility player, playing where needed... Unless he really does well and cements the central role for himself.

It is a weird inflated price, but he's better than Pogba at least (not that that says much) and still less than half the price.
