Oh MY, Hamilton really have sold you budgerigars a pig in a poke!laughlaughlaugh This appointment has instantly put the kibosh on your fanciful promotion aspirations. #epicbudgiefail
Greetings, oh bitter one <ok> I watched your boys crash and burn with hardly a whimper vs Cardiff last weekend, so if there's anything closer to home you could address, I suggest it would be a sound idea.
Thanks for dropping by. :emoticon-0152-heart

Something I saw pointed out today, which I don't think has been mentioned, is how good it was that Neil chose to get stuck in today, rather than wait it out.

Away at the league leaders, who are in stunning form, really is a baptism of fire. You could have forgiven him for just sitting in the stands and taking notes. He'd not been involved in team selection, and having your first game in charge at home against somewhat easier opposition is a better platform for making a good first impression.

But he didn't. He got stuck in as soon as he could. He spoke to the team before the game, again at halftime, then came into the dugout in the second half. Nobody would have thought any less of him if he didn't, but he had the self-believe to come in, and influence things, and even better it paid off.

Its irrational this early in his managerial career, but I'm really getting a good feeling about Neil.

He just seems so positive. And he's animated on the touch line. Not always the sign of a good manager but when you come in for 30 minutes with ten men and change things to get a winning goal you've got to be doing something right!

Hopefully he gets that positive effect going in training and on the pitch. The players need a bit of praise for getting themselves back into it after going a goal down and stepping it up after going a man down. All round good stuff! Hopefully Howson's red card gets rescinded too, haven't seen a clear view yet though so I dunno, looks soft though.
