In spite of our league position vis a vis Ipswich's, I still think over the next 10 years we will have more success. Discuss

I think they may be a bit rattled.
Their paper thin confidence of getting out of this league seems to he cracking at the edges at the thought of another Lambo type manager coming to C R.
If we don't go up we will still sell out every game and have funds to change our squad Ipswich started with **** all apart from a £90m debt and if they fail to go up Evans will probably cash in on any good players to balance the books.
We have a very good chance of doing another double on them and there seems to be a breath of fresh air around the place with the prospect of a new young hungry manager coming in with no doubt a few new players too.

I can't believe you are ****ing yourselves silly over this, 48hrs ago none of you had even heard of the bloke!

you boys are bloody legends! <laugh>

Now of course knowing you being lily white Mr Nice Guy you aren't the sort to WUM or invent things that posters have said. I am confident in your absolute honesty and integrity in your depiction of Norwich fans' views on this, and in fact anything. After all, in my experience you have always acted in the utmost good faith when discussing conflicting opinions.

But just for those posters who do not hold you in quite such high regard as I do, would you please be so kind as to point to all the posters who have been ****ing themselves silly over this appointment? I only mention it because it seems to me more a case of we are relieved. But I'm sure you're right and in fact the vast majority of the Norwich fan base is currently playing the sticky biscuit game.

Many thanks

Good old SN you sound the one who is rattled mate! <laugh>

For all the seasons when you have been selling out your games we achieved a higher attendance for our last home game than you have in your entire history! <laugh> Another full house for us on Saturday and then again on Wednesday in the FA Cup...Yep we are soooooo rattled.!

I prefer the term circle jerk.

Your last home gate was fractionally larger than our smallest gate for four years. So what the hell are you talking about?

I'm sure the last 2 games didn't effect your average gate receipts for the last 10 years.
Bums on seats pay the bills , not just a few fairweather types that crawl out when you are not so crap for a few games.

[HASHTAG]#Warky[/HASHTAG] gets caught with his proverbial pants around his ankles yet again after making up fake stats.

<laugh> Others have beaten me to it...

Bear in mind what our record home attendance is. And you might want to check that against your record home attendance is.

It's ok, you don't need to answer this lot. What you did is known as "being hoisted by your own petard"...

and along with our managerial situation being resolved, it has brightened up my day

Perhaps we should also point out that our biggest ever gate is in fact five thousand more than their record? Except we'll get accused of talking about history. You'd think they'd like us talking about history...

Holt's role is nothing special. Take him or leave him, really not important. Neither is continuity at the moment because a fresh set of eyes is EXACTLY what is required. The continuity takes shape from the footballing board. Coaching staff are not important for continuity. If anything a clean sweep (bar Phelan as he's new) would be beneficial.

I find that a surprising opinion, Supers. A new young manager taking over a club in a league he hasn't experienced since 9 years ago. There isn't time for a new management team to settle in and get to know the players. He does need to hit the ground running and he will need help to do that. There's a rumour that Holt may be offered a management job by Kilmarnock next summer, and that might be a time to adjust the management team. Certainly McNally has now made it clear that both Phelan and Holt will be staying on.
