Just thought some might like to see him in training for England U21's. Such a shame we don't have him still as he would tear this league apart

He's not THAT good. If he makes it to the 2012 team it'd be a disgrace - four better wingers? Downing, Young, Johnson and Lennon.

Young and Downing play on the left. Johnson isn't a conventional winger as he cuts inside from the right and Lennon is just awful and has done **** all in an England shirt. It's time to integrate players like AOC into the senior squad

I could be wrong, but I assumed that Joe was referring to the 2012 Olympic team (obviously commonly known just as "2012"). And with the fact that 15 out of of the 18 players have to be U23, I'd say Chamberlain has a great chance of making it.

We might all want to take him back but he ain't coming. Just thank our stars that we sold him before the bar stewards who are trying to pull up the ladder got their way. We'd have got peanuts for him. It was always good business, and if he wanted away let him go and good luck to him.

Easy mistake to make, he had a professional contract. He only would have gone cheap if they'd got to him before he signed after scoring against Bournemouth.

I wouldn't take him to the Euros, but I would put him in the GB Olympic team. I presume that willl be dismantled after the games?

Doesn't matter about left and right, I was talking squad in general there are four wingers. Downing and Young are far from bolted to the left, otherwise how did they both play at Villa?

I assumed Euro 2012 but if I'm wrong and it's Olympics then indeed I'd be very surprised if he didn't make it in - my comment was in regards to Euro.

I'm a big fan of Downing's. Best delivery of any Englishman since Beckham.

Very rare for me, but I actually watched the full 90 minutes of the England game yesterday, and Downing was MOTM imo.

My comment was in regards to Euro 2012 as well. Arsenal are likely to use him a lot this season and I think he'll do well. I also think he should play in the middle for England to give the team some much needed mobility. It'd be a controversial decision, but I say go with a young and largely unproven team and see how it goes. No one really cares about the Euros anyway. This should be seen as preparation for the 2014 World Cup.

I was actually quite impressed with Walcott last night, and even more impressed with the way him and Kyle Walker linked up down the right.
