If you read what I said properly, you would see I said Bruce has been great in his time here. Every bit a solod championship player last season, and looked every bit a premier league player so far this season, keeping Luis Suarez completely out of one game.
Then you come along and make a **** of yourself thinking I'm saying he's a proven premier league player, when I didn't.
But the fact still stands, that you released a player who is far better than anyone you've got at the back, and we've been reaping the benefit. Also he wasn't **** last night, away against top of the league who are on fire, obviously you didn't watch. He prevented far more goal scoring chances by himself than the one he let past him.

Qualifying through his Irish grandmother, Bruce was eligible for international football for both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, as well as England, where he was born.
