Well yeah he'll get the credit of course as manager but a fair few of you you were pissed off with his lack of tactile nous at the Den going long ball after we scored for ****tu to gobble them up all day long.
That's why we have brought Wood in and want another centre half. We are a very good football team but when teams mix it up and and scrap were just get bullied.
But we're 5th? Hardly going to not give him the credit for promotion (should we get it) because your centre half is a foot taller than our striker, are we?
Well no exactly but it was your disgruntled fans comment's that caught my eye after our game, just that it played into our hands when you were hoofing it up the park so they were valid comments. It's a game of opinions after all so best left like that.
Millwall bullied us in that game as is their style and I think it highlighted for the first time for many of us that, although we play some great stuff at times, we're not great at the dirty side of the game. End of the day Millwall were an average side that we should have beat, but Pearson stuck with the side that has lifted us to the top of the table as opposed to picking a side to compete in a battle. I would have liked to see players like Futacs, James and Marshall start (all came on as subs interestingly), and Waghorn, out injured, would have fair well too, but Pearson is a stubborn character and wouldn't have been worrying about the opposition's playing style, which on this occasion cost us.
It now appears either SKY was jumping the gun or there hasnt been a bid Strangely they did put Leicester have "apparently" agreed a fee
