Did'nt know what else to call it lol.

Basically Sir Alex has opened his mouth again without as far as i know looking into the facts. Gibson was the most likely player to sign at the beginning and something went wrong.

However what are peoples thoughts that Ferguson gave us Wellbeck on loan with the condition we sign Gibson permanantley

Not for 40k a week that's for sure.

If he gave us Welbeck as part of the deal for Gibson and we paid Gibson 152-20k a week then not really a big issue as we'll definitely benefit from this. But if Gibson wants 40k then he can get stuffed!!

I think, as someone on here stated the other day, this is SAF being clever and trying to pull clubs away from the "Gibson was the reason this didn't go through" - If clubs look from the outside and see Gibson putting massive wage demands to us then they're not going to be interested - if they look and think we're to blame then they might be interested in the player
 
is that what he want's tho marcus? they was an article not long ago saying he was pissed off with his agent, because he agreed with the deal we put together, then his agent just stormed in and asked for a fortune so we just said do one!!

I think that was me, if not then I posted something incredibly similar, but yes Marcus totally agree- I think SAF is just being clever and doing the best he can for his club. Fair play to him on that one, we'd want Brucey to do the same! :)
 
It seems there are two different stories here, ours where Gibson wanted more cash at the death. Gibsons where he has told SAF that we pulled out after changing the terms don't think we'll find out either way to be honest.
