Drank John Smiths at York races yesterday. Horrible stuff but to be sociable I sank a few. Then later back into town and onto Black Sheep ale then a couple of bottles of Hobgoblin. Not sure what I drank after that but enjoyed them all.

Like Black Sheep and the dark Hobgoblin, Speckled Hen is an acceptable pale ale.can't drink lager too gassy.
