Nah... HBO is too expensive for me. I only really have cable at all so I can get FSC, ESPN2, SPEED and BBC America. I was considering recently cutting the cord completely and buying a Roku and a Netflix subscription- but then I'd have to watch all the footy on the computer.
I think we should loan him out to Lechia Gdansk- see how his hothouse flower of a girlfriend enjoys a winter in northern Poland
http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/reds-agree-aquilani-deal It's on the official site - def a loan deal... Oh well... At face value seems stupid!
Dont we yet again have to pay part of his wages while hes playing for another club? We should wipe our hands of him permanently even if it means selling him on the cheap,he never wanted to play for LFC or he would have have stayed instead of letting his agent tout him around Italian clubs,it was only a couple of weeks ago he said he wanted to stay and he loved it at Liverpool FC.
Why can't we just sell him? He clearly doesn't want to play here so whats the point if we are just going to send him on loan every year?
It seems an insane bit of business and even though we'll not be paying his wages as Dave pointed out he'll have a another year less on his contract so his value will have dropped by that much anyway surely. Guess a bit more info will come out if it happens but it seems a strange one. If the fee we get next year hinges on him having a good season then we must be confident in him having a good season right? So if we think he'll play well then why not just keep him? He's good enough and we've already got Meireles out for a bit. And if we think he's not good enough then sell sell sell......
My theory is Liverpool want x amount for Aqua lets say 16 million. AC Milan say no way. Liverpool say have in on loan and if you then think he's worth it pay us 16 million. Hasn't worked with the last 2 loans though.
True mate, but i'll boo the bastard every time he touches the ball if he ever wears a Liverpool shirt again.
"I am delighted to have arrived here," said Aquilani. "This is a leap in my career." I think with those words he showed what he thinks of us.Very skilfull but too lightweight for me.The deal is a loan deal but with a £7 million fee activated after 25 games.
