Ah nothing has changed then. His final balls into the box have always been poor.

What do you reckon he will go for, there is rumours your club have turned it down.
When a player wants out,it will happen.

I agree it will happen if he has put the request in (all rumours up here m8 at moment)
Aitor Karanka has said "hes going nowhere"
But it better happen quick for AA,or he will find himself fermenting on the subs bench until the window
opens again, then what will he be worth (or capable of) ??

If i was Aitor Karanka i would demand silly money for him,or get someone to get Adomah to stick his dummy back in<hug><hug>

Albert is well loved down here, as you could see by the few hundred at yours saturday.
we would probably change our formation to bring him back in,but him and freeman on both flanks causing havoc would be tasty.

Has anyone told you, that Steve Cotterill makes the decisions on who we buy and what formations we play?
As pointed out to you before where would you put Joe Bryan if you've put Albert on the right and Freeman on the left?
Don't say left back, as that would really show how stupid you really are!

Could Adomah play centrally? I wouldn't have him above Freeman, but I reckon he could be handy behind a striker. It wouldn't be the first time an established winger has found themselves in the centre making all the runs.

Definitely keep Bryan on the left.

The only question in my mind is IF Albert comes home then who will give way to him on the right attacking wing.

Really not sure where Albert would fit in our current line up, and it would appear too late to make other signings to fit him in, so if there was any interest it may die off. I cannot see Albert swapping the Boro bench for ours, in truth, although Bristol beats M'boro as a location hands down, they equally trump us as a big club with genuine and realistic Prem ambitions this season. Could he play as an up top striker alongside either Kodija or Wilbs??

He could play, as Ender suggested, in a central striker's role just off the traditional number 9 in the old fashioned inside right position.
The prospect of frightening pace with Kodjia is mouth watering, considering Freeman would be the supply and Bryan from the left.
Not sure about his ability to hit the target though (or his final ball), something thats quite important for a striker !

Never did quite rate his final ball or accuracy, which is a shame, as otherwise he would be devastating. We have had similar type players in the past. Junior bent and Ivan Sproule spring to mind.

Sproule had electric speed- I remember well the goal he got against Southampton. 1-0 up into injury time and their keeper came up for a corner. Basso rose like a salmon to collect the corner, bowled it out to Sproule who left their defender for dead and had only the ball and an empty Southamton side of the field in the way of him making it 2-0.

He practically ran the ball into the net rather than shoot from any distance nearly getting caught by the chasing defender on the line!
