I see Palace defeated the mighty Citeh last night (Pellegrini is favourite to be the next manager to be sacked) and Palace have 4 wins and 2 defeats in their last 6 games and are guaranteed to be in the Prem again next year. Quite a turn around from where Palace were before TP was drafted in to rescue their season last year.

Edit - Arsenal are on an incredible run - 8 consecutive wins and a GD of 12.

Yes, they seem to becoming the new Swansea. After decades as a yo yo team you now really don't fancy playing them!

I can't get carried away. I watched last nights game and City, a team I dislike, battered them for 85 mins. Palace, the home team, hardly had the ball, were wasting time before half time and had all the luck and decisions going for them. Nobody would have called it an injustice if City had won 5-1. Pardew seems to have developed into a steady type of Manager - good luck to him - but I rather suspect that this time next year we will be wondering if a new Manager at Palace can follow Pulis and Pardew in keeping them up!

Thanks for that review 1950, as I didn't see the game. I'd been in the pub watching Watford V Boro (thought Boro were quite poor!!) and couldn't justify going back in the evening. For the record, I thought Ipswich were VERY lucky to get a draw against Bournemouth on Friday!!

I can always justify going back to the Pub - perhaps that's why I have been divorced so many times!!
