Just seen clips from the Pardew Conference on SSN.

"We told Andy we would renew his contract in the Summer, however he wanted to renew it straight away, thats when I felt the power shifted"

"We didn't twist his arm, or force him onto the helicopter. At the end of the day if Carroll wanted to be here he would of stayed, but he's not here."

"After the transfer went through I told Mike that all of the fee had to be reinvested into the team and he agreed"

"We made some bids at the last minute but we were quoted extortionate amounts, we weren’t going to pay an over inflated figure for a lesser player than Andy Carroll"

Sounds like Carroll got greedy to me.

This quote needs to be etched in stone and kept outside SJP as a reminder to Ashley in the summer that we haven't forgotten (unless Pardew is a bare faced liar and jury is out at present)...if he's still here to put the money back in the team of course.

Pardew is just a puppet nothing more. Mike got rid of Chris because the fans respected Chris and Chris respected the fans. Pardew is happy to collect a paycheque and be hated by the fans while he spouts rubbish in these press conferences and Mike and Derrek leak rubbish through David Craig.

That whole thing late last night about trying to sign N'Zogbia was a joke as well with David Craig trying to tell people he's a fan favourite. We need a left winger like a hole in the head and the fact he played for Wigan who's 80 year old Chairman would have been long in bed just summed up how clueless and rudderless we are - Putting panic bids in for stupid money for a player who has already left fans with a bad taste in the mouth once before.

I'll tell you exactly what'll happen Pardew will bang on for the next three weeks about spending the Carroll money in the summer then when season ticket sales are through the floor the board will come out and cite that they cannot afford to spend big money on players when the club isn't making enough match day income. We'll limp along until January then Tiote or Enrique will be sold and a month later Sports Direct will open for business on the moon

could you confirm something for me?

Its been specualted quite alot prev that he is out injured for 2 month's but has that actually been confirmed? if not how long is he / was he expected to be out for?

last week
he was supposed to see a specialist on friday and it would then be confirmed he would miss a further 2-4weeks
so basically most if not all of february
if he plays within liverpools next 3games then the move was already pre meditated imo
