Alan Davies (apparently hes a comedian) comments on Hillsborough.

To be fair most football fans dislike Dalglish, even more so after this season.

To be honest, if you guys were not Liverpool fans, you would think hes a ****ing moron.

 

But it's ok for the hack to tell us how we should be feeling, grieving or thinking.
Ironic eh?

 

And the lemmings that follow his every word.

 

The world today is pathetic. Most ****s look the same, think the same and originality or self thinking is a thing of the past.

 

Does anyone watch Alan Davies, he ruins QI by just being there.

 

I've been watching the posts on this thread for a while now. From what I can see, quite a lot of people have put football before the most precious thing in the world. LIFE.
Now don't get me wrong, I would rather my team had an extra days rest before tackling Barca, but some things are more important. The worst thing that will happen is that we lose to Barca. 95 people died. yes died, at Hillsborough and if the families would rather that Liverpool didn't play on that date, then so be it. Hats off to Liverpool for respecting those wishes.

 

Good comment... i think the reason no games are played on the 15th is to remember that there are things more important than football, and you summed that up perfectly. will be cheering on you guys next week and hope you can go the full way in the competition

 

I think that a lot of people on here have lost track of what's important. The wishes of the victims' families. If Liverpool fulfill those wishes, then hats off to them.

 

Thanks. I know our clubs aren't the best of buddies but,as I say, it's only a game.

 

O'Neil is an arrogant fool. He has absolutely no way of knowing the depth of feeling of the families or the supporters. He, like Davies totally fail to realise that we as Scousers (and I include the Blue half) have chosen our way to commemorate our loss. It matters not one jot to us what he/they think about it. If they are inconvenienced by it -tuff. BUT we do reserve the right to voice righteous anger (not indignation) towards those who would mock us or use our situation for a cheap laugh.

 

Why is this an issue?
96 dead....they not only died but were then blamed by lying police and news papers who claimed they stormed the turnstiles (lies). Those who tried to help were accussed of attacking the police (lies) pissing on the dead (lies) and robbing the dead (lies)...
And still the authorities refuse to release papers that show what happened.
I could care less what I would want to happen on that day...it werent my brother, boyfriend, son, husband, wife or daughter who died so my views are irrelevant...the families chose, the club chose not to play on the 15th ... Does it really matter?
As for some of the comments on here...banter is one thing but some of you should get a life
