    out those mentioned "playmakers", only perhaps Haris and Mehdi have the vision passing ability to fill the playmaker role.

    Am I a tit for being such a football purist? lol

    Possibly neither of them will end up as a playmaker. Abeid has been deployed in a much deeper CM role and Vuckic looks more like a goalscoring midfielder than playmaker to me.

    When I read it I hoped he'd be a right winger as we only really have Obertan there, everywhere else in midfield and up front is covered IMO.

    This. I think Abeid is box-to-box similar to Guthrie and Gosling I'm not too sure of yet.. he mainly played RM when Everton played him, I never really saw him in the middle. <ok>

    Also Vuckic is a attacking midfielder!
