Far too little IMHO - he's never going to work in racing again anyway, so the ban is pretty ineffective. I would have liked to see action against Godolphin, as many have said, this cannot have been Zarooni alone
At this stage BHA can only act against Al Zarooni. What matters next are the investigations that take place and whether any action is taken off the back of it.
According to RP Al Zarooni has told the BHA and Godolphin that two yard foremen and a vet's assistant were involved.
Sorry, picking bits up from Twitter. The steroids were purchased in Dubai and brought back to Newmarket. The vet's assistant did not know what he was injecting, he was following orders. They've also stated that they do not believe Al Zarooni was unaware of the rules. BHA will interview all Godolphin staff and will also oversee the blood tests that Sheikh Mo has ordered. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Ismail Mohammed becomes Godolphin's new trainer. I always felt he was being primed to get Godolphin horses eventually when he came over and there is a strong chance this could speed up matters. Could be wrong but would be the most logical appointment (unless someone from within the yard gets promoted which I can't see happening).
Would love to see Sheikh just split his horses with UK trainers and give himself a great chance of a) winning things and b)rebuilding his reputation.

BHA have no juristiction over Jim Bolger's yard. Channel 4 have an exclusive interview with Simon Crisford at about 1.45pm this afternoon.
Of course they haven't - i'm such a fool at times! If BHA had any concerns that there may have been wrongdoing across the whold godolphin operation could they ban Dawn Approach from running next week?
Without any evidence of wrongdoing they cannot stop the horse from running. They may put in a request to HRI to take a sample, but HRI would not be obliged to do so.
