A sad story all round, but the best possible news now for the grieving family & friends of Sir David Amess https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-61094059 It would be good news if we never again hear the name of his cowardly scumbag killer. No more publicity for this evil maggot.
That was two semi finals where I really didn't like anyone. Glad Chelsea won, but beyond that, I really don't care.
I quite enjoy Sky talking up these games as if Manchester United are going to contribute to a clash of roughly equal giants, long after they have ceased to be capable of it. United are so far beneath what they used to be it's incredible. City (H) 0-2 defeat City (A) 4-1 drubbing Liverpool (H) 0-5 humiliation Liverpool (A) 4-0 spanking Aggregate: scored 1 conceded 15 Taxi for Ralf Rangnick's reputation... he did apparently have one. I'd never heard of him.

Taxi for Ramsay. Easy to say in hindsight, but I question the wisdom of putting up late substitutes to take penalties. They may not be exhausted by 2 hours of football, but neither are they personally tuned in to the match. I can only speak for myself, but I would rather take a penalty having spilled my guts for the team over 120 minutes, rather than take one after playing just a few minutes of vacuous extra time. Apparently the Rangers fans did not let their disappointment turn into bad behaviour (as far as I know). That's another piece of good news.
It appears that @Smudger603 has been banned from here, he cannot get on this board. I am receiving multiple text messages from him frantically trying to find out what the problem is
@lardiman re that text I sent you about banning Smudger as his user name is nearly the number of the beast. He's sneaked back on
