There are certain communities that have excessively high unemployment rates and mostly live in social housing within inner cities. The tax take from these communities would be negligible. Utterly pointless immigration. Why import people to take valuable social housing and join the dole queue? And then there is the drain on education, prisons and hospitals. It is a black hole sucking in billions of pounds each year. To suggest otherwise is pure folly. And we are not talking about Danes or Canadians or New Zealanders.

It appears to me that nobody is listening to what I say. There is no point in being a Moderator on here. Since Friday I have been helping a friend who has Parkinson’s disease and has now been diagnosed with Dementia. It has taken a lot of work getting carers in etc. When I posted that I could do without people posting political posts all I get are a snide-comment from Elfs I don’t need this hassle.It is a ****ing football forum. There are more important things in life.

Frankie Detorri has announced today that he’s filing for bankruptcy. Forgive me for a sec. There’s a long and very cynical story culminating in today’s announcement. Dettori has had a very, very lucrative career in the UK over the last 35 years, and has earned well in excess of £60m in that time. Well in excess. There’s just one problem. Like Lester Piggott before him, he had an arm’s length relationship with the truth where HMRC was concerned. Dettori has build up a poor reputation in recent years for his love of a pound note. 18 months ago he embarked on a lucrative and highly choreographed six month retirement tour (“come and see Frankie at xxxx one last time), only to then change his mind at the end. That cynical act soured a lot of race fans towards the Italian. Today’s announcement that he owes HMRC tens of millions and cannot pay, comes as no surprise.
Sounds like he should have his honourary MBE revoked. Dettori's Wiki page states he is a Foreign National, so presumably he has no British Citizenship. If he did have, that should be withdrawn as well. I assume people who go bankrupt do not go to prison anymore for only that reason. If Dettori has assets such as properties, luxury cars or artwork (etc.) in the UK they should be seized to the value of what he owes HMRC. If the debt cannot be recovered that way he should be barred from visiting or staying in the UK.
