When people say Aguero is 'world class', on what stage has he proven it? Argentina have be woeful for the past few years (since he broke into the team) and Atletico have hardly set the world alight. Sure, they won the Europa league, but that was due to Forlan's goals (2 in the semi, one in the final) You might say he's consistently in the top 5 La Liga goalscorers, but Darren Bent is in the top 5 in the PL. Is Darren Bent 'world class' because of this?
Aguero offers alot more than bent though. Better at crossing, better at skills, can litrally single handly carry a team, by going past 3 players and scoing a stunner. bent doesnt do that all bent does is score, thats it, score. hes a poacher and their needed in football but he doesnt have the skills or all round play of aguero.
Well I suppose I've only seen Aguero at big tournaments, or on the odd occasion AM were televised. I'll see how he does at City.
BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone who knows **** all about footie, Shreks bests years are long behind him. He's only a couple of years off playing in the US or Japan!
jesus been reading the comments and i have come to the conclusion that KPR is most proably the worlds biggest numpty, you beat rooney at something anyway hahahaha, before u slat the lad who has won everything in the game at club level and is still not even in his prime years yet, may i ask KPR what have u achieved on the football field other than win the off fifa 11 game againts the computer on amateur.
Carrol, every day. You don't need Aguero and Suarez. Aguero will cost a hell of a lot more inwages over his contract than AC would. If nobody has asked this before....Aguero or Tevez?
Aguero is yet to be tested in the premiership.Being a success in Spain does not guarantee success in the EPL.As for Carroll injury permits he has all the time in the world to prove himself. My rating as follow: Aguero 6 of 10 Carroll 6 out of 10.
Tevez is the better player right now, in my eyes he is one of the top strikers in the world. Aguero isnt far behind Tevez in terms of quality but he isnt as complete a player as tevez is just yet. Give him a few more years and he may become as good or better than Tevez.
In my opinion its. 1.Tevez 2.Suarez. 3.Aguero. And thats only because Tevez has more experience than Suarez in the premiership.
King Pepe Reina..have seen this thread on the Yernited board? http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/69098-KPR-signatures
KingPepeReina who gives a sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet about experience where talent is concerned. Suarez is a quailty player but not even in the same stratosphere as Tevez. Phil Neville has has more xp of the prem than them all combined he aint a patch on any of them.
I couldn't see it,you're going to have to post them on here,I'm 100% sure they contain some of my similes ie Man Uniteds central midfield has bigger tits than Haley McQueen.
As for carroll he has all the time in the world to prove himself, while aguero doesnt why? hes only one year older and has achieved alot more already. If you take age into acount and what both have achieved its more like aguero 8-9 out of 10 carroll 5-6 out of 10. just because he hasnt proven himself in the prem yet doesnt mean hes a crapper player. messi hasnt proven himself in the prem yet he is better than any player to play in the prem. P.s At raul, dzeko was still cheaper than carroll lolz.
If your asking for Liverpool at the moment I say Carroll. His unique and fits in our style, we already have another foreign/similiar striker in Suarez and like others said Carroll is long term and likely to stick around whereas Aguero isn't. I expect him to move to Real Madrid in a few seasons time, I suspect he really would have preffered a move there but couldn't because of the whole Madrid rivalry, its different sometimes when it isn't direct. At City he still plays in England (Which I reckon he did genuinely want at one point in his career), he pulls the strings (Similair to Tevez) and he still gets a paycheque, allbeit heavily taxed. On the subject of Carroll his feet are underrated. He can hit a shot with power but low and drilled, something I haven't seen a striker do in the Premier League consistently before. The low shot is harder for the 'keeper to save than a top corner shot.
