Looks like we'll be back as a privately-owned company by Jan 17.

Just a month away and that bold experiment where we were the first (English?) club to be a PLC (IIRC) starts to fade away into history.

Not only the first to become a PLC but the first to delist.

2 firsts don't make a summer but ......

First club to have 2 shirt sponsors
First club to win 2 trophies in a post war season
First club to win 2 European trophies in their inaugural years

Cheers for post and info Ensil, but not sure about that Europe claim.

1972 UEFA yes, but when was the other one? It surely wasn't 84, and in 63 we beat the holders (IIRC)
