Does anyone really know how the agents are paid? I'd assume they have a contract with the player of a percentage of the signing on fee.. I'd then assume the signing on fee payable to the player may be based on the fee paid to the club who own the player. The agent doesn't set that price the club do.. The agent may play the Market to drive up that price by getting other clubs interested.. I don't see how the club are obliged to pay an agent unless they are bribing them to encourage them to lean on the player to sign for them. The purchaser doesn't have a contractual obligation to pay the agent. I'm basing my opinion on the above premise which may be wrong. I just don't see how it could work in any other way unless it's third party ownership ala tevez at west ham. A friend of mine is a PA at a sports rep agency in brum I will try and find out how it works

Nah, I'd highlighted the first question, my gripe is that UIR is saying Hazard's agent was paid 6m which UIR seems to be 100% certain on. My argument is that nobody knows how much his agent was paid, same with all transfers and I highly doubt Moura's was paid anywhere near 9m.
