canals! that genuinely made me laugh. we use the term 'rivers' because that is what they are but screw it, i'm going to call them canals from now on!! i've been all around britain and without even the slightest hint of bias i'm yet to find a more beautiful city than norwich. however, when night falls it becomes a different beast - prince of wales road begins to resemble the kavos strip while the punters turn into jeremy kyle guests. norwich appears to have taken over from nottingham and become a favourite for stag and hen do's in recent years, possibly because there is so many pubs and bars in such a small vacinity. a friend of mine works for the old bill down there and reckons its quite rare to arrest anyone on a friday or saturday night who has a norfolk postcode!
