It’s been so obvious for so many years that we need a proper holding midfielder and Wenger has done **** all about it.

There was a time recently when arsenal weren’t that far off from challenging for the title and we just needed a DM and a couple of players here and there. Now though the entire spine of this team needs replacing as well as the manager.

I fear we’ve got a few seasons of rebuilding to do and that after we eventually get shot of Wenger.

He's not. But our board have been soft as **** just letting him carry on. They've just been coasting because he was getting us top 4 and a few pots here and there. Now though he can't even do that.

Yeah I know he's not 'In charge of his contracts but he's not been far off.

He should have gone by now. Everyone except him surely see's this.

He should have gone after he won the FA cup last season. Would have gone out on a relative high and we could already be rebuilding. As it is it's like a long, slow and painful death for him, and us as fans.

He should have gone after the FA Cup in 2014 imo.

Even at that point the fans had turned so yeah it would have been a perfect chance to get out relatively unscathed.

Just shows how big managers egos are.

He obviously thinks he can still turn it around, despite all the evidence suggesting otherwise. The board have been piss weak, because they've just let him coast along and haven't even considered an alternative, until now. Really hope he goes this summer and we bring in somebody like Simeone or Allegri.
 
What about the changes at Arsenal, I thought they were going to make the difference for them.

It'll be a tough gig whoever decides to take it. You need someone after a long term project. Not everyone's cup of tea tbh
