i think your deepest fear is that once Wenger (who has won more trophies than every Spurs manager combined) moves on and we have a new manager who starts investing in the team, that Arsenal will return to being capable of winning the League.
Spurs may have a period of finishing above Arsenal, probably 2 seasons at most, but as they say form is temporary and class is permanent, and we will get back to where we belong

Wenger has won 9 trophies with arsenal
(3 titles and 6 FA Cups) which is amazing at 1 every 2 and a bit years but that is not as many trophies as Spurs have ever won.

As bad as things are for Arsenal right now, this is nothing compared to what Arsenal will go through in the decade after Wenger.

Look at 'Pool and look at United.

But, somehow, the Gooners on this board believe that their (smaller) club is going to be immune from the effect.

Gooners, you had your day in the sun, but it's over.
