Bit of breaking news......

Aidy White is joining Sheffield Utd til January.

Good move or not?

McDermott has been in charge of 20 games for us.....

played 20

won 10

lost 8

drew 2

scored 25 and conceded 22

In those 20 games he used just 26 different players!

Paddy Kenny, Sam Byram, Jason Pearce, Stephen Warnock, Adam Drury, Paul Green, Rodolph Austin, David Norris, Luke Varney, Ross McCormack, Steve Morison, El Hadji-Diouf, Aidy White, Michael Tonge, Tom Lees, Davide Somma, Lee Peltier, Michael Brown, Dominic Poleon, Ryan Hall, Luke Murphy, Matt Smith, Noel Hunt, Zac Thompson, Scott Wootton, and Alex Mowatt.

50% is not a bad win ratio.only 4 teams can better 50% this season its the losses we need to stop.

Pity White isn't gone permanently. Not improving and certainly not good enough as he is. No end product at all. Clearly over next six months, more deadwood will go one way or the other. Important their replacements are a lot better. In other words, no more noël hunts please

Afternoon - A Good move as it might put him in the shop window, to think he was valued at around £600k when he signed his new contract last season, would be lucky to get half that now.

White renewed his contract at the right time....

Nobody in this thread has said sack the manager? On another note I wasn't one of those getting carried away last week when we won. I did feel it was more a one off performance mixed with a poor Brum showing. I quite expect us to win as many as we lose this season <ok>

Not on this thread maybe, but my opinion is based on other quotes on other threads. I'm just sick of the high expectations after one good win and then all the negative bollox that follows after a defeat. I never said you got carried away either regarding last weeks win, that was directed at the people who did.

I think 90% of posters were being tongue in cheek. Only Eire has the champagne (potato wine) on ice.

Could be giving him game time with a request to the Blades to use him as a wingback. A development opportunity in a more meaningful game than he could get with the development squad

Afternoon all

Bye Bye White make a good impression at the Blades so they can buy you and take Hall with you. We can bring somebody better in.

Probably were Glory, but you know what I mean. One week we're deadly, next we're not. We just don't have a good enough team and there is no chance in hell of us getting out of this league this season. But hey that's what happens when you're a Whites fan...

Afternoon all,
Swings and roundabouts it was allways going to be this season.
We don't have a squad good enough for promotion.
Keep the faith. <ok>

I wasn't aiming that comment at you either mate, just blowing my trumpet ;) <ok>
