Three quick questions :-

After the game did the players do a lap of honour, anyone wave goodbye?

How did the LUST protest go, see anyone in LUST T shirts?

Are there any positives to be taken out of todays performance?
 
Can't answer the first two questions Elland, but to answer your 3rd question, not really. No positives today!! Afternoon by the way.
 
Yes subdued lap of honour, poor turn out for the trust all balloons got burst!

Apparently beckford didn't get on Leicestershire team coach and he is having a night out with the Leeds boys

Also heard he got took off for not performing and constant salutes to the Leeds kop. And that he's said "the only time I will score at Elland Road is in a white shirt" Really wish he would come back
 
Afternoon all,

I spoke to the stewards re. the balloons (rather too aggressively for my own good, I suspect). They were bursting them after half time at the request of the referee, as there were a number of balloons swirling on the pitch. Believe that if you like!

Poor turnout for LUST. We had one guy chucked out for refusing to sit. Response team don't seem to like old fat Scots gits screaming 'Nazi scum' in their faces. Just as well I'm not going clubbing tonight - suspect they'll be on a door somewhere. Bastards. I thought there were only about 50-60 of us, yet we were surrounded by 4 police, 6 MIBs, 2 response team, & 12-15 stewards. Completely unnecessary.

Quite educational today. Apparently banners are not allowed unless they have a kite mark, as they're a fire hazard. Checked my clothes & couldn't find a kite mark! Logically, .....

Liked one tweeting describing Leeds 'Lap of Crap' at the end of the game. Spot on, mate!

Only one positive today - the final whistle. Even that was a disappointment. Should have been a couple of minutes earlier to spare us a new record number of home defeats.

We need confirmation. If that's what has happened, he's probably not got a future with Leicester City, and he's a legend, albeit an unprofessional legend.

Think he wants to come home. bates won't have him though, he's a "greedy bastard who wanted too much money". Or he was given a Premier League opportunity on a standard Premier League wage of £20k a week, and took that opportunity because his career is a short one having started late.
 
Serious about that Whitejock, they had a load of security around the LUST lads just because they are LUST, even though there were only 50-60 of them? That is pathetic.

Yip, serious. Numbers might be a wee bit out, but proportionally correct. Apparently one of the guys was told by a MIB to 'sit on his hands' as 'the cameras are watching you'. Wasn't just balloons, btw, the LUST chaps were throwing bundles of photocopied fivers at the prawn sandwich brigade, just below us.

I'll NEVER go in the ESU upper again. Bloody stairs nearly killed me. Couldn't defiantly stand until until half time as my legs were rubber.
 
Did you get to see where bates was?

That thing about the fivers is brilliant. I hope you lot caused some havoc up there, it might be a good idea to keep it up as a form of protest into the next season. I'm sure there'll be plenty of people capable of buying the tickets to go up there and making the voice heard. Scare off the corporates until bates listens.
