When do we think he will get given the boot? I think he will wallow around in the transfer market we won't get anyone good we will get some weird South American who will be **** then we lose a few more games then gone in March is my prediction.
Some people are being critical of SAF in not strengthening the squad, when I suspect the reality is that he and Moyes knew well in advance when SAF would be stepping down, so no new signings were made to allow Moyes to bring in his own targets in the Summer, and we all now know what an arse was made of that. Add to that the fact that it is now plain to see (particularly in view of the veiled comments made by Rene that what happened on Moyes arrival was not as the coaching staff had been told i.e. - you lot are all fired and I'm brining my mid-table super coaches in to replace you) - that the transition has not gone as SAF had intended - a new man being integrated into an existing structure, not a total ground up rebuild that has left the players not knowing if they are coming and going, evidence that by Rio's latest comments about how Moyes is messing with their mindset with his selection announcments. In Fergie we trusted, at Moyes we cringe.
The trouble is that Utd have been average for a long time. Last season showed just how poor the premiership was in terms of quality. David Moyes shouldn't be blamed at all. There are far two many average players or players well past their best at the club and Fergie should bear some responsibility for not improving certain areas over the years. Apart from Rooney, RVP and Hernandez who have you got that would have a chance of getting into the sides above you? Moyes identified the midfield and left back area as major weaknesses and was pathetically let down by your novice chief executive in the transfer window.
Keano would have hammered each and every player in the dressing room today if he played with that lot. No passion or desire to fight back.
I don't get how people say the league was **** last season because we won. No team has added that much this season. Arsenal added ozil and that's it. Though without him they'd still be top. City added a striker but their team is pretty much the same. Liverpool added a defender. Chelsea added a has been striker and a squad player. The league is really not that much different. So valley you sir are talking out your arse.
Do you honestly believe that last season was great in terms of quality? You got lucky last season in that everything RVP touched turned to gold and it papered over the cracks. Utd need to invest in at least 6 world class players to challenge for any trophy in future.
Right so what your saying is that most of the teams are the same this year and because we have a new manager and are playing **** the quality of the league is amazing? You're talking ****e.
Paul Butler (@paul26cfc) tweeted at 9:30pm - 7 Dec 13: @rvp_2015 I think Moyes will take United to the league title next season although you face stiff opposition from Derby and Leeds #berk (https://twitter.com/paul26cfc/status/409434869207674881)
Where have I said the quality is amazing? You got lucky last year, this season is obvious that you have declined further whereas the other teams especially Arsenal and Liverpool have improved dramatically. The bottom line is, you have far to many average at best players, and others well past their prime.
There was nothing lucky about it, we pissed the league last year. At the time though we had a truly great manager and now we don't. We've got a relative novice (at the level he's now working) who hasn't had the chance to buy his own players. I disagree with Sweats here too, City bought three players, not one. As did Liverpool and Spurs. I don't think Chelsea hugely improved but what arsenal did was grow up a bit and add stellar quality. What we did was age another year and add a single, sole, utter cart horse. January is crucial because if we don't spend on at least two players he might as well leave as they don't trust him. If we do though then he can be fairly judged on it. I'm not overly worried, I half expected us to be ****. Not this **** but **** all the same.
Everyone knows when things go wrong they go really wrong. Moyes is not a bad manager and it will take him this season to really find his way around the biggest club in the UK. Look at Liverpool for example they had Rodgers for his first season last season and they were producing much the same results as united are this season. Moyes will turn things around just like Rodgers is doing at liverpool and united fans should get off moyes back and leave him go through his learning curve this season...After all sir alex chose him and you trusted him so trust him on this. Stop putting unnecessary pressure on the club and try to understand what is happening this season..
You what?? For example: City added Fernandinho Jesus Navas Alvaro Negredo Stevan Jovetic Martin Demichelis Chelsea added Andre Schurrle Mario van Ginkel Willian Samuel Eto'o Christian Atsu Liverpool added Kolo Toure Luis Alberto Iago Aspas Simon Mignolet Aly Cissokho (Loan) Tiago Ilori Mamadou Sakho Victor Moses (Loan) Manchester Utd added Guillermo Varela Marouane Fellaini I'd say the top teams have bought well, and therefore made the league more competitive than last year - 2 things won you the league... 1.SAF 2.RVP
