The fact that are few are wearing covid masks suggests it's real but the guy stood in the far right corner looks out of proportion to the rest (you can actually see his features whereas from the middle backwards the rest are too small to see. It's obviously a military cargo plane and i believe that both USA and UK have said they are only evacuating their own people and have no plans to evacuate nationals.
Bluey has a point though. This is the death knell for the strategy of trying to export democracy to countries through military means.
They were loading people on military cargo planes mate. Not saying that's a genuine photo though as ive not checked it but that is what they were loading them on, although they weren't as tightly packed as that. I think there was one flight, not sure what country, but it let anyone on, it was literally a free for all.

Yeh agree. Fwiw the real fck up was that in 20 years the Allies couldn't develop any homegrown leadership to take the top posts, and more importantly in all that time they didn't engage with the Taliban meaningfully. They tried to bypass them, thinking they were done.
