Same. Its a great story and all but it gets told to death. Its also praising what can only be described as a group of thugs playing football.
he is an attacking midifelder he turned in on a bench so he is prob flavor of the month Rossiter.. williams... or even zap brannagan might get a game just as much our younger lads like ryan kent or harry wilson, or jordan lussey or trickett-smith or jerome sinclair
don't even f'n joke like that FFS I want the easiest possible tie thanks. I'd love a handy 3-0 and a home draw in the next round v another lower league team and let utd draw chesle away and let uir tell us all how bad chelsea are then.
"@DamianLFCpl: Mignolet – Emre Can, Škrtel, Sakho – Manquillo, Henderson, Lucas, Marković – Gerrard, Coutinho – Lambert." rumoured team. yuo figure the **** out. I thought manquillo and markovic as wing backsbut then i wondered where the f do you fit gerrard, lucas and henderson. Perhaps manquillo and henderson as winbacks then.. who the f knows. enrique is a bit of a waste of sapce then cos he was training so if he can't get in this one whats the point.
few previews to be found on this AFC dons: Sammy Moore and Adebayo Akinfenwa will be fit for AFC Wimbledon's FA Cup tie at home to Liverpool on Monday night after recovering from illness and a leg injury respectively. Millwall youngster Jake Goodman is eligible to play in what will be the final game of his loan spell, while defender Adam Barrett will be unavailable for the hosts as his loan from Gillingham expires on Sunday. Defenders Jack Smith (hamstring) and Andy Frampton (ankle) are set to miss out again. LFC: Defender Martin Skrtel returns from suspension for Liverpool and fellow centre-back Dejan Lovren could make his first appearance since December 17 after recovering from a groin injury. Captain Steven Gerrard, who has announced he will be leaving the club in the summer, is likely to be rested while striker Mario Balotelli needs to be assessed after missing Thursday's draw with Leicester through injury.
Gerrard playing off Lambert? Either way - it's a horrible attack. Sooner we sell Lambert, the sooner I never have to see him play for LFC again.
Hope we give this shower a good tonking. Was watching the BBC's best FA Cup moments yesterday and it showed the 1988 final between us and the old Wimbledon. What a load of thugs that side used to be. Shows one thing though - how much of a soft lad's sport football has become. I'm not saying they should let leg breakers get away with it but the way players go down today over nothing is ridiculous compared to those days. Then they showed Bert Trautmann winning it with his broken neck - they were real men, served in the war so a little knock on the football pitch was nothing. Today's footballers need some perspective.
i dunno.. maybe it will be. I still can't find who the ref is either. Liverpool will be safely in the draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup, simply because it takes place tonight, before their third round tie with Wimbledon. The number to look out for is 6. And numbers to avoid? Manchester United are 30, Chelsea 27 and Manchester City 7. A potential derby match would see numbers six and 25 drawn out together. Or of course that could be a London derby ..... Wimbledon v West Ham.
BBC Salford doing their utmost to convince themselves tonights game is an actual re-run of the 1988 final, they're even showing the whole 88 game on their webshite at 2 o'clock. We're not even playing the same club tonight ffs, they are praying and using voodoo and the dark arts in the hope we get beat.
The have the rights so are desperate to milk it for all its worth without a single **** given for journalistic integrity They have another article interviewing the old Wimbledon team where everyone is just laughing about how they love violence GBH for the LOLs: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30637342
