Have you seen the table today We have dropped to 4th for heavens sake even West Brom and Huddersfield are above us Silva must go or else we will dragged down to the level of those London makeweights Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea Unless things improve rapidly we will have to settle for a playoff for the Champions League and just being the best Team in Southern England and I thought our owners had real ambition
unblinkingbelievable day!!! What an incredible atmosphere (perhaps spoiled only by those Watford fans intimidating the home fans when we scored the first)..just dont see the point in getting dragged out of the ground tbh! Anyway, aside from that..wow, that was fun! Love the new chants, and the beauty of a small stand is that the noise levels were deafening at times..fanblinkingtastic! lol. Even with 3 minutes to go i wasn't sure we'd get 3 points but what an amazing feeling when we did! We look very good, not a weak link in sight, despite what you might think of a couple of our players, and the change from last season to this is just indescribable. Can't wait til Saturday, and i think more away games this season are in the offing. Marco Silva is by far the best signing of the season!
I wouldn't be surprised, i can't see how he'll fit in this team now, unless we suddenly start playing 2 up front..
Just watched the highlights again. Not going to get overly excited but what a breath of fresh air that performance was. COYH
A great performance - especially second half! Even more sweeter to get one over a team who lacks such sportsmanship! Will be interesting to see if they get pulled up on the Arter thing but suspect not - little old Bournemouth, the fairy-tale, don't do things like that! Pundits seemed to make a joke of it... but remember as a kid you get taught to not shout 'leave it', 'my ball' or 'I got' Great to see we have such competition for places too. Shame Janmaat is injured as otherwise would have liked to have seen Femenia given a go at right-wing. Just don't think Amrabat is Prem quality. He tries hard but just too little end-product! Also wouldn't mind seeing Gray out wide if we play Deeney or Okaka up front It's also nice we seem to have a home plan and an away plan. I think Deeney/Okaka will play at home, and Gray away - especially to teams that may have a lot of the ball so we counter fast!
https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/aug/19/bournemouth-watford-premier-league-match-report Good fair article here...
http://www.hertfordshiremercury.co....inst-watford/story-30490130-detail/story.html Dermot Gallagher confirms what we all knew...
And the same chap agrees Arter would have been booked for his calling out.. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...r-watford-impersonation-says-dermot-gallagher Not sure why Arter would call out "Jack" - does it sound like any the names of any of our players!?
Hope this wasn't anyone on here getting kicked out of the home end on Saturday. http://www.bournemouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=80841&start=41&posts=59 (We must get a few"away" fans in our home stands)
Apparently; Secret Footballer@TSF 5m5 minutes ago Shouting "JACKS" is the universal footballers shout to get a player to dummy the ball. Technically not a foul because you are calling a name Guess no retrospective action because of it then... Lesson learned for Chalobah - but re-affirms all we need to know about Bournemouth players! Seems to be one of those 'funny' things other fans are laughing at... until it happens to them!
To add to the confusion, according to Eddie Howe both Bournemouth and Watford actually use 'Sid's' ...
Probably more covering up! I mean all the other clubs are going to know now so it will have to change.
11,460 is the capacity at Bournemouth, yet the attendance was 10,500 or thereabouts. That seems a big percentage drop for a club with such a small ground.
I think that was partly our fault though - I'm sure the away allocation is 1500, but we only sold 1300.
Still fourth after the week-end games all finished - hopefully Brighton will let us stay there, or even improve.
