Exactly - if we had got something out of the game it would have been a huge talking point. I would be surprsied if anyone on here defended it to be honest.
Well Mr Vic R,FACT is Pudil tackle must have been bad..cos players dont apologise for things too often- its actually the tackle that was 'negative'...but if someones presence such as me offends your goodself then of course they should stay away, and you should not have to tolerate tripe. To others, havent seen the 'Arter' thing so cant comment- Angella though I have seen and was obviously a large error and very tough on the club.I will never join the 'Blame The Ref For Everything When My Team Loses' band of what can just be bad losers, but in this case theres no excuse for this referee. As for the 'nobodys defending the tackle'and similar comments..my point is virtually nothing was being SAID about it at all,but plenty about other issues from that game.Sorry if I like a bit of balance. Anyway I'd better shut up, I might be spoiling Vics tea !!
The reason 'virtually nothing' was being said is because a) it wasn't the main talking point and b) it didn't affect the outcome of the game. However, as you yourself point out, it was mentioned. So there was some balance, but for the reasons above the red card was always going to overshadow the other main talking points. Simple really.
It would take more than a weasel like you to spoil my appetite. I'm about to tuck into Chilli and Rice - probably be a little too hot for you.
