Cos the site has been down most of the day!! Been at a loss as to what to do with myself because of it!!
I'm still in a confused daze from losing to Chelsea - but as the evening goes on I'm slowly recovering, reviving and stoking! COY GREENS!!!!!!!
Difficult to say not knowing how they've recovered but they had a long rest before Chelsea so I'm assuming they're all okay to start again. Mane for Long. Hopefully Longs okay for the bench. And the only other player I'd like to see is JWP, especially if Austin starts. Not sure if I'd have him in for Clasie or Davis though. Be interesting to see what team Ron sends out. I'm positive we'll win this one 3-1. Mane to get back in the goals and Austin is probably due one too.
OMG....this is likely to be a high scoring game Hope we can keep control of the midfield. If I was Howe I would play 4-5-1 and take control of the centre of the park and over run our two & force our wing backs into defence...high risk Ron
When we played with Mane and Tadic, behind Long, we relied on a lot of long balls, because we lacked an attacking midfielder, linking the defence to the attack. With Bompey being up for this, I hope we don't miss Davis' work rate and the defensive side, of his game. Will find out soon enough.
Also feeling confident. I take part in a prediction league on a website I write for, where they compare their Saints writers to Merse and Lawro. I'm beating them both by a nice distance. I've also managed to open up a three-point lead over my closest challenger. I called the 2-1 loss at the weekend, and tonight - in a more positive tone - I've gone for a 2-0 win with Austin to score any time. Here's what the others - including Lawro and Merson - reckon we will see tonight: http://stmarysmusings.sbnation.com/2016/3/1/11132316/prediction-league-south-coast-derby-away
