Wouldn't be surprised if we reverted to 4-3-3, for this one, now that Long may be missing. If we do, I just hope Austin gets the nod ahead of Pelle, so we can see how he leads the line, supported by Tadic and Mane. Clasie, I would guess, will be rested, unless his fitness has increased enough to let him start another game so soon. If we stick with 3-5-2, then I hope it's Austin and Mane up front.
Ron says 50/50, but I think that's to keep Bournemouth on their toes. Three days recovery, I would be shocked if he started. Bench at the very best
Great, I thought it might be more serious. Think we should rest him, he has been one of our most important players of late.
The second part of Ron's interview was much more interesting from a Saints point of view. Seem to get more intelligent questions than for the televised bit where they are just trying to get sound bites...hopefully about other managers. So the problem with Tadic is two-fold....the main reason being that he doesn't fit the new game plan, but also he isn't at his best at the moment. He can do something about himself, but tough having his opportunities limited by the 'new' way we play. Not defensive enough for Ronald. Has to wait his chance and then grab it with both feet.
We're turning in to the home stretch now, and if we want to keep tabs on the top 6 (who'd of thought that was a possibility a few weeks ago) then today pretty much qualifies as a 'must win'. Not sure how many tickets we were given, but our fans inside the ground need to be heard. Meantime, thanks BT Sport. Loving this broadcaster, and I'm not even paying for it.
There once was a player called Jordi Clasie, Who kept midfield just like the Stasie, He bossed the game at Bournemouth Town And scored a goal to send them down: So Poor old Bompey went down the Khazi.
